⚠ This is the most frequently used term in this school. Even metallic currency, when closely examined, is based on the credit that "everyone will accept this item of this weight."
Credit takes decades to build and can be lost in a matter of days. Most of the dramatic moments in monetary history arise from this asymmetry.
