- Article 9: Persons insured under the long-term care insurance are persons aged 65 or over who have an address in the municipal area (Category I Insured Persons), and medical insurance subscribers aged 40 or over but under 65 (Category II Insured Persons).
- Article 41: The amount of in-home long-term care service expenses shall be equivalent to ninety-hundredths of the amount of expenses calculated based on the standards specified by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare.
