An engraver who inscribed his name on the coins of Syracuse. He is known for his masterpiece decadrachms, and one example is known where he signed a single coin three times. In Syracuse during the same period, there was also the engraver Euainetos, who inscribed his signature under the head of Arethusa or below a dolphin.
