  1. Ministry of Finance Ordinance No. 16 (February 22, Shōwa 21; Minister of Finance Shibusawa Keizō): In Article 1 of the Enforcement Regulations for the Bank of Japan Notes Deposit Ordinance, "10-yen notes" is amended to "5-yen notes, 10-yen notes." Effective from the date of promulgation.
