- Title and colophon: Paris, printed by A. René et Cie, 1846, 40 centimes. Includes an advertisement announcing a "popular edition of one million and some copies" as "in press."
- A satire in which the "Tribunal of Public Opinion," after reviewing a petition titled *Réponse de Rothschild Ier, roi des Juifs, à Satan dernier, roi des imposteurs* issued in the name of James Rothschild, delivers a "judgment" favorable to Rothschild I.
- p. 97: States that the house will renounce the trade in old clothes and old aiguillettes "which, according to Satan dernier, was greedily carried on over the corpses of our brave soldiers at Waterloo," citing the rumour as "Satan's claim."
- pp. 98–99: Demands that the house make voluntary compensation to the victims of Fampoux. A note signed Charondas states: "Frenchmen, engrave in your hearts three ominous words: 1815, — Waterloo, — Fampoux!"
- p. 30: "Orders" an injunction against the various editions of "Histoire édifiante" by Dairnvaell ("se disant Satan dernier"), demanding that the "thirty thousand copies sold to the public" be handed over to King Rothschild or that an errata sheet be inserted. Also mentions Dairnvaell's second pamphlet, "Rothschild Ier, ses valets et son peuple" (note 6).
- Table of contents lists the names of Toussenel's "Les Juifs, rois de l'époque," Fourier, Enfantin, and Péreire. Note 10 sarcastically remarks that with "about 30 corpses," the "King of the Jews" can call himself the "most peaceful of conquerors."
