Kan'ei Tsūhō (bun issue)

In the eighth year of Kanbun a guild of six drapers took on the Kameido coin mint in Edo, and coin of good and even quality was cast in quantity. From the single character 'bun' on the back it is called bun-sen. In the tenth year of Kanbun the shogunate forbade trade that mixed old coin with Kan'ei Tsūhō, and the age of imported coin and erizeni, five hundred years long since the end of the Heian period, was settled with this one piece.
