  1. Mayer Amschel Rothschild, founder of the Rothschild partnership is born in Frankfurt（1744）
  2. In 1769, Mayer Amschel gained the title of Court Agent (letter of appointment 21 September 1769, Elector of Hesse-Cassel)
  3. Salomon moved to Vienna in 1821, establishing the fourth Rothschild banking house
  4. 1852 Establishment of the Royal Mint Refinery — The acquisition of the Refinery by Sir Anthony de Rothschild (1810-1876) made the London house a leader in the bullion trade
  5. 1918 Charles Rothschild, scientist and organiser, becomes Senior Partner at New Court on the death of his uncle Alfred
  6. In 1976, the chairmanship passed to Evelyn de Rothschild (1931-2022)
