- Under the Pensions Act 2014, the UK State Pension age will rise from 66 to 67 between 2026 and 2028. Those born between 6 April 1960 and 5 March 1961 will reach it at age 66 and a specified number of months.
- Under the Pensions Act 2007, it is scheduled to rise from 67 to 68 between 2044 and 2046, and this timing may change with future reviews.
- The Pensions Act 2014 stipulates a review of the State Pension age at least once every 5 years.
