Claims Supported by This Source

  1. Sales catalogs were published annually in octavo format. Six volumes from the 1770s and four from the 1780s are extant.
  2. The catalogs from the 1770s mainly listed thalers, totaling 1,666 to 2,917 gulden. The four volumes from the 1780s also list Greek and Roman gold and silver coins.
  3. The standard catalog referenced was David Samuel Madai's "Talerkabinett".
  4. The first invoice to Crown Prince Wilhelm of Hesse-Kassel was in 1765.
  5. Elector Karl Theodor and General Estorff were also clients.
