Claims Supported by This Source

  1. The all items index for CPI-U rose 3.4 percent over the 12 months ending July 2026 (before seasonal adjustment).
  2. The food index rose 3.0 percent over 12 months, and the energy index rose 14.7 percent. The index for all items less food and energy rose 2.5 percent.
