A Half Won silver coin inscribed Gwangmu Year 10 = 1906. This silver coin is from the Won system introduced during the currency reform. The dragon engraving on the obverse is deep, and the coin's surface condition is good. In the same year, 1906, a total of 1.45 million gold coins in denominations of 5, 10, and 20 Won were minted at the Osaka Mint, making this a tangible example from the period when the Won system was being established with both gold and silver.
