A 5 Chon cupronickel coin from the system established after the currency reform of 1905. As the accession records show conflicting dates, listing both Gwangmu Year 11 and 1905, the year is noted as a range. After the excessively minted cupronickel coins were withdrawn, the same cupronickel material was used to play a small part in the new, post-reform monetary order.
