A half jeon copper coin dated Year 3 of Yunghui, or 1909. It was one of the smallest denominations of the Korean Empire, and the country was annexed the following year, in 1910. Not a large gold coin, but the smallest everyday copper coin, marked the final year of an independent monetary system.
