A bullion gold coin of 999.9 purity, struck since 1989. The obverse features the great organ of the Musikverein, while the reverse depicts instruments such as the horn and cello. Its face value changed from 2,000 schillings to 100 euros, and it continues to be struck even after the schilling was replaced. It is a self-portrait of the City of Music, and has been the world's best-selling gold coin on multiple occasions.
