A 1924 Poltinnik (50 Kopeks) silver coin. The design features a blacksmith at an anvil. After the revolutionary experiment to abolish money and a storm of paper currency, silver small change returned to wallets, along with the gold-backed Chervonets. The reconstruction of the currency began with such a solid sound.
