The Spanish regular shipping route connecting Acapulco and Manila. It lasted for 250 years, from 1565 to the final voyage in 1815, carrying silver westward and silk and porcelain eastward. The main cargo was the 8-reales silver coin.

⚠ It was a river of silver crossing the Pacific Ocean. This route connected Mexican silver to China's demand for silver.
