A wall restricting withdrawals of deposits and foreign currency, and transfers abroad.

Greece Sixty Euros a Day / Queues at the ATM

Measures restricting the withdrawal of deposits and foreign currency, and transfers abroad. In Greece, they were introduced on June 28, 2015, following the freezing of the ELA ceiling, and withdrawals were limited to 60 euros per day (fully lifted on September 1, 2019). In Russia, on February 28, 2022, exporting companies were ordered to sell 80% of their foreign currency earnings, and restrictions were placed on foreign currency withdrawals and transfers abroad.

⚠ In Athens in 2015 and in Moscow in 2022, walls of the same name were built.
