How is the amount of the National Pension insurance premium determined?

- The National Pension insurance premium for fiscal year Reiwa 8 (April, Reiwa 8 to March, Reiwa 9) is 17,920 yen per month. For fiscal year Reiwa 7, it was 17,510 yen.
- With the system reform in Heisei 16, it was decided that the National Pension insurance premium would be raised by 280 yen each year until fiscal year Heisei 29.
- From fiscal year Reiwa 1 onward, with the implementation of the premium exemption system for the prenatal and postnatal period, the insurance premium was increased by 100 yen per month.
