The 2 Jeon of the Daedong silver coinage. The characters for "Daedong" are within the central circle, with the denomination arranged around the periphery. It represents the shift from silver weighed on scales to silver coins with inscribed denominations— —a path that would later lead to the Yang, Hwan, and Won. From the collection of the National Museum of Korea.
